Hands and Feet

Hands and Feet

The abacus separated heaven from earth
A bi-quinary system perhaps emulating the two feet and five fingers
A single bead is worth five in heaven, and
One is worth one on earth

The Maya used dots and lines
A Vigesimal system perhaps incorporating all fingers and toes
The numbers grew by a multiple of twenty
Lines were valued at five and the dots as one

If you keep it simple you could use both your eyes
This would be called a binary system
The numbers consist of zero and one
Nothing made everything possible for sum one.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
