Think Outside the Box

Think Outside the Box

Kindergarten taught me my ABC's
With grade School arithmetic numbers became a breeze
High School however was a hormonal experiment
Between short skirts and good times, I don’t know where my
brain cells went

Orwell we learned was a pretty interesting character
He warned of crooks acting as political barristers
Galileo pointed out Lucy in the Sky with diamonds
Unfortunately short skirts had me dreaming of all shaped hymens

Newton fascinated me with his calculus
But intriguing too was the old reliable abacus
Fermi then goes off to split an atom
Door opened for mankind to enter the nuclear stratum

The university years were an exercise in futility
Many not realizing our future was predicated on Darwinian acceptability
The curriculum`s major focus was on theory
The theory of why professors looked so God darn eerie

Science and all its fiction is truly amazing
With it, some ass-holes decided to do a little hell razing
No doubt, these guys are pretty clever rogues
They made sure the movies depicted all the future vogue

Yes, they have already told us all that is to come
Technology released with each beat of Pandora`s drum
But in the strum there was one deception
Their technology mutilated our extrasensory perception.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
