Quebec Student Protests & Jack Layton

Quebec Student Protests & Jack Layton

I thought Canada was an indivisible nation, or least Jack Layton thought it was so. Where has the spirit of solidarity gone? Has Jack Layton’s vision of an emboldened and empowered youth vanquished? Was his message solely to draw inspiration to an election campaign or a message for the times? Canadian students across this land must march in solidarity with their Quebec comrades. Let the heartbeat grow strong. If a steel-worker by the name of Lech Walesa could overcome such insurmountable odds, what could stop Jack’s army?

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
