The Suspended Light

The Suspended Light

When you awake
You shed the shadow of death
When you bathe
You wash off the crust of rigor mortis
When you dress
The gauzes of eternal life pause in the Per-Nefer
When you feed
The corporal organs reinvigorate
When you saunter atop the terrain
The ages acknowledge your pulse
When you slumber at day’s end
The suspended light magistrates your fate.

Thank you
Joseph Pede
