Hoax

Hoax

Sit down and stay awhile
Take a moment and read my lengthy internet file
Go back as far as you wish to go
The more you read the more you may question what you think you know
I’m not the bearer of bad news
Rather someone who has presented a story that may eerily amuse
Nothing I see may be in your field of vision
Perhaps because you believe too much in television
Nothing I sense may have entered your mind
This because society has made you spiritually blind
Take a walk outside your fleshy shell
The world may have a much more different tale to tell
Be seated and close your eyes
Dream what sleep no longer provides
When you awake be sure to contemplate for a little while
The puzzle becomes more decipherable when you wear a thinking smile
If you can figure out the mystery of the 21st century hoax
You could conclude that humanity has become the butt of Darwin’s survival joke.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
