Snake Eyes Eleven

Snake Eyes Eleven

I woke up and there was tomorrow
Filled with all of Orwell’s predicted sorrow
There was no identifiable sex
Mankind diminished to an asexual hex
There was no more intellectual learning
Man’s brain neath a boot found desperately yearning
There was no job to earn the almighty dollar
Humanity instead enslaved by an invisible collar
There was no joy but rather fear
Memory confused by the use of the watery tear
There was no Samaritan warrior
Rather an unending feudal euphoria
There was no longer a God in Heaven
Twelve Apostles less One left snakes-eyes eleven

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
