An Idea

An Idea

i thought of an idea
immediately i brought it to life
i shared it with everyone i knew
or anyone who would listen

knowing people hate the truth
i presented a scenario which would subdue them
planted a seed of inevitability
but not necessarily a sure thing

i added an ingredient of fear
a sprinkling of perversion
made it economically stimulating
focused on the self and self-survival

detached the narrative from the physical reality
presented an attainable utopic ending
added variations of future possibilities
where money was subservient to other concepts

the distortion proved effective
repetition made logical deduction quiver
differentiating right from wrong became difficult
the ending proved more than idea

Thank you,
