The outcome of the survey discovered that a range of situations that pushed several middle-class Americans out of the border into bankruptcy, even though they had health insurance. Records show that 92 percent of the medically bankrupted winded up in that economic situation caused by high medical bills. In addition, numerous families who had health insurance were under-insured, leaving them in charge of the huge and expensive medical bills they couldn’t pay.

Approximately a fourth of the entire companies all over the country revoke insurance coverage instantaneously when an employee suffers a disabling disease, and 25 percent cancel insurance within twelve months. Also, losing a job because of the recession generally means certainly losing health insurance coverage. statistics for 2012 – as of February 18, 2012 9:45AM +/-

Fiduciary Duty

During the Provincial election campaign Dalton McGuinty’s advertisements boasted of the success he and his government had during the previous two terms. He spoke of a very promising and bright future for Ontario. This week, Mr. Drummond stated that Ontario’s future could be as catastrophic as that of Greece’s if we do not get our financial house in order. Is there not a fiduciary duty to tell the truth and disclose pertinent facts to the taxpayers when in, or running, for political office?

These political lies are more catastrophic to the average student, family and senior than any drug dealer or pimp - I hope you are listening Mr. Harper. These lies impact everyone. What is more disheartening is that seniors may pay the ultimate sacrifice for these political lies. Seniors were and are the backbone of this country. Now they and ordinary taxpayers are being told healthcare funding will be dramatically impacted as a result of the gross mismanagement of our provincial budgets.

It is my opinion that we must start charging our politicians with political corruption. This is the duty of law enforcement! Our biggest criminals sit as fat cattle in our corporate boardrooms and parliamentary buildings. Stop the nepotistic waste and the rest will take care of itself. Our government officials, corporate elite and public service sector have been on a regular dose of hallucinagetics. It is time “they” faced reality, not the average taxpayer.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
