Donald Trump Junior has responded to the concerns of many. “Trump will not resign,” he says. We take him at his word. There is also evidence now that Donald Trump, our President-Elect, is beginning to understand the forces arrayed against him, forces that the sitting President, Barack Obama, is enabling.  Wayne Madsen writes:

President-elect Trump is facing a two-pronged attack by his opponents. One, led by entrenched neo-con bureaucrats, including former Central Intelligence Agency and National Security Agency director Michael Hayden, former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff, and Bush family loyalists are seeking to call the shots on who Trump appoints to senior national security, intelligence, foreign policy, and defense positions in his administration. These neo-Cold Warriors are trying to convince Trump that he must maintain the Obama aggressiveness and militancy toward Russia, China, Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, and other countries. The second front arrayed against Trump is from Soros-funded political groups and media. This second line of attack is a propaganda war, utilizing hundreds of anti-Trump newspapers, web sites, and broadcasters, that will seek to undermine public confidence in the Trump administration from its outset. ^[i]

As protests and riots continue and spread – high school students are now being organized by professional agitators and covert social media campaigns designed to foment civil stress against the President-Elect, Trump has been slow to recognize that he is a 27% “fringe” president (as Barack Obama was and as Hillary Clinton would have been), and slow to understand that his first priority, having been elected “unshackeled” and therefore an existential threat to the dual Democratic-Republican Establishment that represents only 30% of the eligible voters, must be to unify the country by educating the 73% who did not vote for him, on how the system is rigged twelve different ways,^[ii] and by passing the Electoral Reform Act – the Unity Act – to demonstrate to one and all that our President-Elect represents the fastest, cheapest path toward restoring integrity to our government and making our government, for the first time in a very long time, one that is Of, By, and For We the People instead of the 1%.

Only after doing this – and securing a mandate twice that of any prior president (by engaging the 47% that did not vote and the 26% who voted for Hillary Clinton (less the three million illegal immigrants and dead people – she did not win the popular vote),[iii] can he then begin to plan for the future.

An Electoral Reform Act – a Unity Act – empowers the President-Elect by stopping the protests and demonstrating his resolve to represent the 99% instead of the 1%; by liberating the Members of Congress from dependency on lobbyists and corporate funding; and by exploding the talent pool available to him should he decided to create an open system, a Kennedy-esque system that integrates the best and the brightest from across the political spectrum.

A Grand Strategy Summit in which candidates for ALL Cabinet positions and from ALL sources are tested against one another before being considered by President-Elect Trump, and a Presidential Academy that trains the incoming political leadership cadre as a whole, are the two additional recommendations being made to President-Elect Donald Trump.

Anyone not supporting a peaceful transition of power to this miracle President is a traitor.

The Accidental President – Will He Resign?

The Closed System is Still Rigged and Likely to Remain So…

Poor Donald Trump. He never really wanted to be president, only to build his brand. He may or may not have had a deal with Lynn Rothschild to pull his punches but it certainly looked that way to some of the best intelligence analysts this country has ever produced[1] – he put all of his energy into white working class voters – a brilliant but incomplete strategy – and consistently refused all advice with respect to reaching out to the 70% of the eligible voters who are completely disenfranchised, including people of color and Latinos.[2]

We now know that Donald Trump had a secret weapon – apart from “winning white” his team relied on “purging black.” Greg Palast has outlined how Arizona, Michigan, and North Carolina specifically, were wins engineered by the Grand Old Party (GOP)’s Operation Crosscheck, led by Kansas Secretary of State Kris Koback. Over 1.1 million carefully selected people, generally of color, were purged in nine different ways.[3]

Still, even if taken together – winning white and purging black – Donald Trump would not have won without two huge spasms in the much larger more refined Democratic process for stealing elections within a system that is rigged twelve different ways.[4] He pulled his punches.

When Stanford University documented the theft of the nomination from Bernie Sanders by Hillary Clinton, using electronic ballot tampering,[5] Donald Trump was silent. The one graphic below addresses 18 states with paper trails versus 13 states without paper trails[6] and was willfully ignored by the media – both progressive and conservative, as well as Donald Trump.

Donald Trump was also silent when the combination of leaked emails from John Podesta and 650,000 emails found on one of Anthony Weiner’s laptops demonstrated a compelling mix of pedophilia by Hillary Clinton and John Podesta as well as outright treason – classified information sent to IP addresses in Saudi Arabia and Qatar by both Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin and clear evidence of “pay to play” influence peddling by Hillary Clinton selling US blood, treasure, and spirit to France (Libya) and Saudi Arabia (Syria and Yemen) as well as US uranium (Russia) in return for money.[7]

For fifteen months, beginning with a comprehensive article in CounterPunch, “Counter-Coup: How Trump Can Win,”[8] delivered to him five different ways, Donald Trump refused to entertain a commitment to both outreach and electoral reform, despite his occasional statement that “the system is rigged” (I said it first, to the Occupy Working Group on Electoral Reform in 2011).[9] He later refused to entertain a Debt Renunciation Pledge that would have brought over all youth with crushing student debt and all elderly with crushing medical debt, as well as small businesses and family farms being crushed by predatory lenders.[10] He appears to have refused repeated suggestions that he meet with Michael Hudson, the one economist who understands that the debt burden will stymie all other good intentions,[11] or Edgar Feige, the one economist that understands how to eliminate all income taxes while tripling revenue with a fractional Automated Payment Transaction (APT) Tax that applies to the entire economy including Wall Street currency and stock transactions, as illustrated below.[12]

Donald Trump and the GOP purging of 1.1 million black voters did not win this race[13] (I praise God that he was in fact elected); Hillary Clinton lost this race twice over after first over-coming deep documentation of her lack of character and deep personal corruption.[14] Her attempts to blame the Russians for hacking her emails (they did not, that was disgruntled NSA employees according to NSA whistleblower William Binney[15]) and for tampering with the ballot boxes (that was all her) backfired. She drew so much attention to electronic voting fraud that honest elements of the government closed those doors and she could not do to Trump what she did to Sanders. She probably did not actually win the popular vote; at least some of those votes were almost certainly residual fraud missed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) monitors.

She lost the race a second time when the leaked emails from John Podesta revealed the true depravity of the Democratic National Committee (DNC),  the Clinton Foundation, and Hillary Clinton individually – throw in the public unease with 650,000 emails newly known to be in the hands of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) – an organization that is badly led but staffed by very good people with scruples – and this translated into millions of her most squeamish former supporters deciding to stay home.[16] Some say this was a “counter-coup” by outraged intelligence and national security professionals.[17]

Protests and Swamp Creatures

Meanwhile, we have protests that could easily turn into riots[18] as the children of privilege – most of them morally and intellectually challenged – suffer from “trauma”[19] over seeing a woman who should be hanging by the neck for treason and fraud lose to a man who for all his positive features, really does not care about government and is probably in agony over the idea of being confined to the White House and controlled by the Secret Service. As he gets a grip on his situation – he has shown some touching humility in recent days – the Heritage Foundation is bragging that they are the transition team,[20] and – I speculate – Dick Cheney and Ed Meese are chortling in the background, certain they can manipulate this “chump from New York.”

I invested fifteen months trying to help Donald Trump win. In additional to my August 2015 article in CounterPunch, and many online posts, I published four Kindle Shorts as shown below, the last one sitting in the Top 20 for Amazon Politics on most days.[21] It troubles me that today in the aftermath of what can only be viewed as a miracle, Donald Trump, Reince Priebus, and Paul Ryan all seem oblivious to the obvious: this is a God-given opportunity to restore integrity to our electoral and governance processes.

It is a fact that 47% of our eligible voters chose not to vote at all. Donald Trump is a minority president, splitting 51% of the vote with Hillary Clinton while Gary Johnson took the remaining fraction.[22] Donald Trump – like Barack Obama – was elected by no more than 27% of the eligible voters. Nothing has changed in the rigged system and there are no prospects for change because the Trump Transition Team does indeed seem to be populated entirely by Swamp People – and the occasional billionaire from the West Coast.

It is also a fact that Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader, and Jill Stein – among others – remain anathema to the Trump Transition Team. The GOP and the Trump Transition Team are a small closed system shutting out everyone else, which is precisely the wrong thing to do if Donald Trump is serious – I continue to give him personally the benefit of the doubt and offer my prayers – about unifying and nurturing our Republic, America the Beautiful.

Assassination and the “Purple” Color Revolution

John Kerry is in Antarctica, Bill and Hillary Clinton are in hiding, and Barack Obama and George Soros appear to be in the early stages of a “Color Revolution” that uses the same tactics we have used to destroy other countries, against TrumpLand.[23] We speculate that Donald Trump is going to be pressured into resigning while Mike Pence will be pressured to take on a Democratic “co-president” such as Elizabeth Warren, ostensibly to create a “Purple Revolution” that in fact keeps the two-party tyranny subservient to Wall Street and the Rothschilds intact – this is the point of the funded organized protests turning into riots and perhaps eventually staged shootings by white paramilitary operatives working for neo-fascists like George Soros.

Such are the games that the elites and their two-party tyranny sock-puppets play with our blood, treasure, and spirt.

This is the counter-counter-coup. Donald Trump appears incapable of listening to those of us who know who to defeat this blatant well-funded assault on his Presidency.

Purple My Ass – Try Integrity Plus Open Source Everything

If Donald Trump and Mike Pence want to get this right, they need to focus on breaking out of the closed rigged system that disenfranchises 70% of the public. They could learn a great deal from Harrison Owen, inventor of Open Space Technology and author of Wave Rider: Leadership for High Performance in a Self-Organizing World; my friends Mitch Ratcliffe and Jon Lebkowski, authors of Extreme Democracy; and my mentor Tom Atlee, author of The Tao of Democracy: Using co-intelligence to create a world that works for all, and so many others whose offerings I have reviewed on Amazon, one hundred of which are included in my essay on Democracy Lost.[25]

If I were to single out just one author who is black, as far from the lily-white Donald Trump world as possible, and a Nobel-level mind whose reflections would be a persistent antidote to the self-confirming Swamp People that seem to be  taking over the Trump Transition Team, it would be Cornell West, author of Democracy Matters: Winning the Fight Against Imperialism.[26] Show me Donald Trump and Cornell West having a serious conversation, and I will guarantee you this country is on its way to greatness.

There are three specific things Donald Trump and the Republican-led Congress can do to stop the riots and protests while moderating the rush of Swamp People eager to take Trump for all they can loot in the early days. If the “Purple Revolution” subversion continues, the Clintons and Soros need to be put in jail and the Rothschilds under investigation.

STEP ONE: Announce, immediately – before Thanksgiving – an Electoral Reform Summit in December that includes all of the 2016 presidential candidates and many others,[27] and commit to developing an Electoral Reform Act – a Unity Act – that will be the first legislation to be signed on Inauguration Day. Restore ballot access and a meaningful counted vote to the 70% who are now disenfranchised as shown below, and point out to the Democrats that this Act will give them a fair shake in 2018 and beyond but neither they nor the Republican Party will ever again manipulate the electorate or control the public treasury as they have in the past. Protests will cease immediately, and President-Elect Donald Trump will have – against all odds – restored the integrity of the Republic. The Electoral Reform Act or Unity Act will fix the twelve specific ways in which the system is rigged, to include liberation of all Members of Congress from reliance on corporate funding for their political campaigns. This would disembowel all lobbyists, and enable President Trump and the now restored bi-partisan Congress to begin making evidence-based decisions that will rapidly address the 50% waste characteristic of all government departments and agencies, freeing up funds for the grand policy objectives centered on jobs, infrastructure, education, health, and border security.[28]

STEP TWO: Convene a Grand Strategy Summit,[29] also in December, while demanding that for the first time, the Office of Presidential Personnel (OPP) devise with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) a sub-set within USAJOBS.gov where the Plum Book (United States Policy and Supporting Positions) can be posted and applications can be loaded from four different sources other than self-selected individuals: Team Trump, Congress, Citation Analytics, and Continuity appointments. Done right, this will create a completely different set of evidence-based policy priorities than those being foisted on the President-elect now by people who are certain they can lie to him and get away with it – and it will avoid Team Trump falling prey to Satanic Ghost Dick Cheney (and other neo-cons who have cost us $5 trillion dollars and created a massive global economic and social collapse). Below is a notional Grand Strategy for national security – a similar Grand Strategy could be created with a domestic focus that emphasized jobs, tax and debt relief, free education, and health as a public service.[30]

STEP THREE: Create a Presidential Academy, perhaps at the National Defense University or with help from Georgetown University, and hire 4,000 political appointees in phases – only one fifth right away, the rest in the late Spring and early summer so families can move without disrupting households and the education of their children – but each group of 250-500 should be hired as complete slates approved by the varied responsible Cabinet officers, and trained together in a manner  that assures a final vetting of their moral and intellectual quality, their complete grasp of Presidential intent as articulated in the Grand Strategy document, and their molding as an inter-agency “Whole of Government” TEAM that will be nurtured by OPP, including a Help Desk. The traditional practice of throwing dubiously-qualified individuals at each position, and never crafting a working network that is responsive to a Grand Strategy approved in detail by the President, the Cabinet, and Congress, should be abandoned.

It may be that Donald Trump will grow to enjoy being the first modern president who is truly of, by, and for We the People. He is certainly in a position to completely redesign the job to his liking….but only if he first unifies the country with a tangible Electoral Reform Act, while he avoids being captured by the Swamp People.

You heard it here first: I predict that Donald Trump is going to resign and leave Mike Pence as President, with Elizabeth Warren as a “reconciliation” Vice President. I cannot predict when but I am fairly sure this is going to happen. The direct threat to his life from the Wall Street cabal, combined with the idea of being a prisoner of the Secret Service and having to constantly shake hands with strangers is going to grate on Donald Trump like raw coral on an open wound. Besides, how cool is it to actually be the President for a few months, and then wash your hands of the system and go back to being a billionaire? Mike Bloomberg, eat your heart out, this could have been you. Never mind that he will be a quitter easily manipulated into giving up.

Whether he wants to resign at the earliest possible moment or not, an Electoral Reform Act, a Grand Strategy, and a completely new approach to how we hire, train, and support presidential personnel, could be his lasting legacy.

The system remains rigged and the Swamp People appear on track to owning Donald Trump as they will own Mike Pence if Donald Trump leaves. Both these good men appear to be ignoring the God-given moment of opportunity for creating the 2^nd American Republic – the inclusive open 2^nd American Republic, no longer a neo-fascist gulag of, by, and for Wall Street.

Genrikh Yagoda - Jewish Mass Murderer

Genrikh Yagoda

Genrikh Yagoda was born into a Jewish family in Rybinsk, on 7th November, 1891. After leaving school he worked as an apprentice engraver. His employer was the father of Yakov Sverdlov. Yagoda came under the political influence of Sverdlov and in 1907 he was encouraged to join the Bolsheviks. Yagoda also married Sverdlov's niece Ida Averbach.

After the successful October Revolution in 1917 Yagoda joined the All-Russian Extraordinary Commission for Combating Counter-Revolution and Sabotage (Cheka). Felix Dzerzhinsky was head of the organization. 

Dzerzhinsky later commented: "In the October Revolution, I was a member of the Military Revolutionary Committee, and then I was entrusted with the task of organizing the Extraordinary Commission for the Struggle against Sabotage and Counterrevolution I was appointed its Chairman, holding at the same time the post of Commissar for Internal Affairs."

Dzerzhinsky explained in July 1918: "We stand for organized terror - this should be frankly admitted. Terror is an absolute necessity during times of revolution. Our aim is to fight against the enemies of the Soviet Government and of the new order of life. We judge quickly. In most cases only a day passes between the apprehension of the criminal and his sentence. When confronted with evidence criminals in almost every case confess; and what argument can have greater weight than a criminal's own confession."

Victor Serge argued: "I believe that the formation of the Chekas was one of the gravest and most impermissible errors that the Bolshevik leaders committed in 1918 when plots, blockades, and interventions made them lose their heads. All evidence indicates that revolutionary tribunals, functioning in the light of day and admitting the right of defence, would have attained the same efficiency with far less abuse and depravity. Was it necessary to revert to the procedures of the Inquisition?"

In September, 1918, Felix Dzerzhinsky instigated the Red Terror that followed the attempt by Dora Kaplan on the life of Lenin. Dzerzhinsky reported "Our enemies are now suppressed and are in the kingdom of the shadows." Lev Kamenev admitted: "Not a single measure of the Soviet government could have been put through without the help of the Cheka. It is the best example of communist discipline."

In 1922 Cheka was replaced by the All-Union State Political Administration (OGPU). On the death of Dzerzhinsky in 1926, Vyacheslav Menzhinsky became the new head of the organization and Yagoda became his first deputy. It has been argued by Edvard Radzinsky, the author of Stalin (1996: "Though Menzhinsky had a hand in all the dreadful deeds of the Red Terror, he fastidiously absented himself from the torture chamber and from executions... He became the effective head of the Bolshevik secret service."

In November, 1929, Nickolai Bukharin, was removed from the Politburo. Stalin now decided to declare war on the kulaks. The following month he made a speech where he argued: "Now we have the opportunity to carry out a resolute offensive against the kulaks, break their resistance, eliminate them as a class and replace their production with the production of kolkhozes and sovkhozes… Now dekulakisation is being undertaken by the masses of the poor and middling peasant masses themselves, who are realising total collectivisation. Now dekulakisation in the areas of total collectivisation is not just a simple administrative measure. Now dekulakisation is an integral part of the creation and development of collective farms. When the head is cut off, no one wastes tears on the hair."

On 30th January 1930 the Politburo approved the liquidation of kulaks as a class. Vyacheslav Molotov was put in charge of the operation. According to Simon Sebag Montefiore, the author of Stalin: The Court of the Red Tsar (2003), the kulaks were divided into three categories: "The first category… to be immediately eliminated; the second to be imprisoned in camps; the third, 150,000 households, to be deported. Molotov oversaw the death squads, the railway carriages, the concentration camps like a military commander. Between five and seven million people ultimately fitted into the three categories." 

Thousands of kulaks were executed and an estimated five million were deported to Siberia or Central Asia. Of these, approximately twenty-five per cent perished by the time they reached their destination.

During 1930 this policy led to 2,200 rebellions involving more than 800,000 people. Lazar Kaganovich and Anastas Mikoyan led expeditions into the countryside with "brigades of OGPU troopers and armoured trains like warlords". Lavrenti Beria, who was involved in this operation, recalled: "When we Bolsheviks want to get something done, we close our eyes to everything else."

Yagoda's men were involved in this operation and according Raphael R. Abramovitch, the author of The Soviet Revolution: 1917-1939 (1962), Yagoda told Stalin that the "only way of dealing with the kulaks was with bullets.One OGPU official admitted: "We have executed some twenty or thirty thousand persons, perhaps fifty thousand. They were all spies, traitors, enemies within our ranks, a very small number in proportion to the persons of this kind then in Russia. We instituted the red terror at a time of war, when the enemy was marching upon us from without and the enemy within was preparing to help him. Scotland Yard executed spies and traitors also in war time."

The kulaks responded by destroying their own livestock. The Russian historian, Roy A. Medvedev, has argued in Let History Judge: The Origins and Consequences of Stalinism (1971): "Influenced by kulak agitation, many peasants, before joining the collective farms, began to slaughter their livestock: cows, sheep, pigs, even poultry. Just in February and March, 1930 around 14 million head of cattle were destroyed; also one-third of all pigs and one-fourth of all sheep and goats." The government decreed that kulak property could be confiscated if they destroyed livestock, but the killing continued.

Stalin gave instructions that concentration camps should not just be for social rehabilitation of prisoners but also for what they could contribute to the gross domestic product. This included using forced labour for the mining of gold and timber hewing. Stalin ordered Vladimir Menzhinski, the chief of the OGPU, to create a permanent organisational framework that would allow for prisoners to contribute to the success of the Five Year Plan. People sent to these camps included members of outlawed political parties, nationalists and priests.

In the summer of 1932 Joseph Stalin became aware that opposition to his policies were growing. Some party members were publicly criticizing Stalin and calling for the readmission of Leon Trotsky to the party. When the issue was discussed at the Politburo, Stalin demanded that the critics should be arrested and executed. Kirov, who up to this time had been a staunch Stalinist, argued against this policy. When the vote was taken, the majority of the Politburo supported Kirov against Stalin.

Yagoda was a close friend of Joseph Stalin and in 1934 he was put in charge of the Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD). One of his first tasks was to remove Stalin's main rival for the leadership of the party. Sergy Kirov had been a loyal supporter of Stalin but he grew jealous of his popularity. As Edward P. Gazur has pointed out: "In sharp contrast to Stalin, Kirov was a much younger man and an eloquent speaker, who was able to sway his listeners; above all, he possessed a charismatic personality. Unlike Stalin who was a Georgian, Kirov was also an ethnic Russian, which stood in his favour."

At the 17th Party Congress in 1934, when Sergy Kirov stepped up to the podium he was greeted by spontaneous applause that equalled that which was required to be given to Stalin. In his speech he put forward a policy of reconciliation. He argued that people should be released from prison who had opposed the government's policy on collective farms and industrialization. The members of the Congress gave Kirov a vote of confidence by electing him to the influential Central Committee Secretariat.

Joseph Stalin now found himself in a minority in the Politburo. After years of arranging for the removal of his opponents from the party, Stalin realized he still could not rely on the total support of the people whom he had replaced them with. Stalin no doubt began to wonder if Kirov was willing to wait for his mentor to die before becoming leader of the party. Stalin was particularly concerned by Kirov's willingness to argue with him in public. He feared that this would undermine his authority in the party.

As usual, that summer Kirov and Stalin went on holiday together. Stalin, who treated Kirov like a son, used this opportunity to try to persuade him to remain loyal to his leadership. Stalin asked him to leave Leningrad to join him in Moscow. Stalin wanted Kirov in a place where he could keep a close eye on him. When Kirov refused, Stalin knew he had lost control over his protégé. According to Alexander Orlov, who had been told this by Genrikh Yagoda, Stalin decided that Kirov had to die.

Yagoda assigned the task to Vania Zaporozhets, one of his trusted lieutenants in the NKVD. He selected a young man, Leonid Nikolayev, as a possible candidate. Nikolayev had recently been expelled from the Communist Party and had vowed his revenge by claiming that he intended to assassinate a leading government figure. Zaporozhets met Nikolayev and when he discovered he was of low intelligence and appeared to be a person who could be easily manipulated, he decided that he was the ideal candidate as assassin.

Zaporozhets provided him with a pistol and gave him instructions to kill Kirov in the Smolny Institute in Leningrad. However, soon after entering the building he was arrested. Zaporozhets had to use his influence to get him released. On 1st December, 1934, Nikolayev, got past the guards and was able to shoot Kirov dead. Nikolayev was immediately arrested and after being tortured by Genrikh Yagoda he signed a statement saying that Gregory Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev and Ivan Smirnov had been the leaders of the conspiracy to assassinate Kirov.

According to Alexander Orlov: "Stalin decided to arrange for the assassination of Kirov and to lay the crime at the door of the former leaders of the opposition and thus with one blow do away with Lenin's former comrades. Stalin came to the conclusion that, if he could prove that Zinoviev and Kamenev and other leaders of the opposition had shed the blood of Kirov". Victor Kravchenko has pointed out: 

"Hundreds of suspects in Leningrad were rounded up and shot summarily, without trial. Hundreds of others, dragged from prison cells where they had been confined for years, were executed in a gesture of official vengeance against the Party's enemies. The first accounts of Kirov's death said that the assassin had acted as a tool of dastardly foreigners - Estonian, Polish, German and finally British. Then came a series of official reports vaguely linking Nikolayev with present and past followers of Trotsky, Zinoviev, Kamenev and other dissident old Bolsheviks."

Yagoda now had the task of persuading Kamenev and Zinoviev to confess to their role in the death of Kirov as part of the plot to assassinate Stalin and other leaders of government. When they refused to do this Stalin had a new provision enacted into law on 8th April 1935 which would enable him to exert additional leverage over his enemies. The new law decreed that children of the age of twelve and over who were found guilty of crimes would be subjected to the same punishment as adults, up to and including the death penalty. This provision provided NKVD with the means by which they could coerce a confession from a political dissident simply by claiming that false charges would be brought against their children.

Edward P. Gazur, the author of Alexander Orlov: The FBI's KGB General (2001), claims that Alexander Orlov later admitted: "In the months preceding the trial, the two men were subjected to every conceivable form of interrogation: subtle pressure, then periods of enormous pressure, starvation, open and veiled threats, promises, as well as physical and mental torture. Neither man would succumb to the ordeal they faced." Stalin was frustrated by Stalin's lack of success and brought in Nikolai Yezhov to carry out the interrogations.

Orlov, who was a leading figure in the NKVD, later admitted what happened. "Towards the end of their ordeal, Zinoviev became sick and exhausted. Yezhov took advantage of the situation in a desperate attempt to get a confession. Yezhov warned that Zinoviev must affirm at a public trial that he had plotted the assassination of Stalin and other members of the Politburo. Zinoviev declined the demand. Yezhov then relayed Stalin's offer; that if he co-operated at an open trial, his life would be spared; if he did not, he would be tried in a closed military court and executed, along with all of the opposition. Zinoviev vehemently rejected Stalin's offer. Yezhov then tried the same tactics on Kamenev and again was rebuffed."

In July 1936 Yezhov told Gregory Zinoviev and Lev Kamenev that their children would be charged with being part of the conspiracy and would face execution if found guilty. The two men now agreed to co-operate at the trial if Stalin promised to spare their lives. At a meeting with Stalin, Kamenev told him that they would agree to co-operate on the condition that none of the old-line Bolsheviks who were considered the opposition and charged at the new trial would be executed, that their families would not be persecuted, and that in the future none of the former members of the opposition would be subjected to the death penalty. Stalin replied: "That goes without saying!"

The trial opened on 19th August 1936. Five of the sixteen defendants were actually NKVD plants, whose confessional testimony was expected to solidify the state's case by exposing Zinoviev, Kamenev and the other defendants as their fellow conspirators. The presiding judge was Vasily Ulrikh, a member of the secret police. The prosecutor was Andrei Vyshinsky, who was to become well-known during the Show Trials over the next few years.

At the trial Zinoviev said: "I would like to repeat that I am fully and utterly guilty. I am guilty of having been the organizer, second only to Trotsky, of that block whose chosen task was the killing of Stalin. I was the principal organizer of Kirov's assassination. The party saw where we were going, and warned us; Stalin warned as scores of times; but we did not heed these warnings. We entered into an alliance with Trotsky."

Kamenev's final words in the trial concerned the plight of his children: "I should like to say a few words to my children. I have two children, one is an army pilot, the other a Young Pioneer. Whatever my sentence may be, I consider it just... Together with the people, follow where Stalin leads." This was a reference to the promise that Stalin made about his sons.

On 24th August, 1936, Vasily Ulrikh entered the courtroom and began reading the long and dull summation leading up to the verdict. Ulrikh announced that all sixteen defendants were sentenced to death by shooting. Edward P. Gazur has pointed out: "Those in attendance fully expected the customary addendum which was used in political trials that stipulated that the sentence was commuted by reason of a defendant's contribution to the Revolution. These words never came, and it was apparent that the death sentence was final when Ulrikh placed the summation on his desk and left the court-room."

The following day Soviet newspapers carried the announcement that all sixteen defendants had been put to death. This included the NKVD agents who had provided false confessions. Joseph Stalin could not afford for any witnesses to the conspiracy to remain alive. Edvard Radzinsky, the author of Stalin (1996), has pointed out that Stalin did not even keep his promise to Kamenev's sons and later both men were shot.

Joseph Stalin became angry with Yagoda when he failed to obtain enough evidence to convict Nickolai Bukharin. Yagoda was replaced by Nikolai Yezhov as head of the NKVD. In December 1936, Yezhov established a new section of the NKVD named the Administration of Special Tasks (AST). It contained about 300 of his own trusted men from the Central Committee of the Communist Party. Yezhov's intention was complete control of the NKVD by using men who could be expected to carry out sensitive assignments without any reservations. The new AST operatives would have no allegiance to any members of the old NKVD and would therefore have no reason not to carry out an assignment against any of one of them. The AST was used to remove all those who had knowledge of the conspiracy to destroy Stalin's rivals.

One of the first to be arrested by AST was Genrikh Yagoda and was accused of being involved in a plot with Leon Trotsky, Nickolai Bukharin, Alexei Rykov, Nikolai Krestinsky and Christian Rakovsky against Joseph Stalin. Yagoda was also accused of being the mastermind of the plot to assassinate Sergy Kirovand had secretly worked for the German intelligence service. Yagoda was alleged to have signed a confession that he was behind a plot to poison Stalin and members of the Politburo.

Genrikh Yagoda was found guilty and was executed in Moscow on 15th March, 1938.

How to access the “Wikipedia for US intelligence agencies”

You’ve heard of Wikipedia, but did you know about the US government’s own Intellipedia?

In 2006, the US Intelligence Community unveiled a version of Wikipedia for internal use. According to a CIA press release, the idea came from a 2004 paper by Calvin Andrus of the CIA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer. In “The Wiki and the Blog: Toward a Complex Adaptive Intelligence Community”, Andrus contended that the CIA and sister agencies “must transform the Intelligence Community into a community that dynamically reinvents itself by continuously learning and adapting as the national security environment changes.”

Intellipedia is located on Intelink, and is accessible from the Internet with the proper IC credentials. In response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request, the NSA recently released the Intellipedia page for The Vatican. Perhaps more important that knowing what the Intelligence Community finds important to record about The Vatican, the release of one entry shows future researchers an example of what Intellipedia looks like.

Intellipedia has a layout similar to Wikipedia and even links back to Wikepedia. Similar to Wikipedia’s page on Vatican City, the Intellipedia page lists quick facts such as the flag, map, official language, population, time zone and calling code. Like Wikipedia, Intellipedia provides external links to relevant information sources, including the CIA’s World Factbook. The page also links to various other nodes within Intellipedia, such as the “Countries of Europe,” “Sovereign Monarchies in the present World,” and “non-european [sic] traditions,” and even directs visitors to such specific pages as “Pope Benedict XVI US Visit.”

While processing this request, the NSA FOIA office asked if the request was “referring to the Vatican building, City, or Holy See.” The file on the Holy See was selected in this case, but presumably, the system includes entries on all three.

Interestingly, Wikipedia has more recent data than Intellipedia. The released page was retrieved in November 2013 but last edited in April 2011, according to the page footer. The Wikipedia entry on The Vatican draws on a population estimate from July 2013, while Intellipedia lists a figure from 2005.

Per usage statistics released last week, there are three tiers of Intellipedia based on the security classification of the content: Top Secret, Secret, and Unclassified/For Official Use Only (FOUO).

Based on these statistics, the Top Secret version is the most used version of Intellipedia, with 255,402 registered users as of January 28. (For reference, estimated 1.4 million people hold Top Secret clearance, according to figures from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence). The released Vatican page was classified as “Unclassified/For Official Use Only,” but the FOIA process removed the “For Official Use Only” classification prior to release.

The NSA is the proper authority to request additional records from Intellipedia. Recent requests have been made for Intellipedia pages on the Tea Party, the Boy Scouts of America, ACORN, and Edward Snowden.

THIRTY-TWO YEARS AGO, in the terrible summer of 1945, the U.S. Army had just completed the destruction of Europe and had set up a government of military occupation amid the ruins to rule the starving Germans and deal out victors’ justice to the vanquished. General George S. Patton, commander of the U.S. Third Army, became military governor of the greater portion of the American occupation zone of Germany.

Patton was regarded as the “fightingest” general in all the Allied forces. He was considerably more audacious and aggressive than most commanders, and his martial ferocity may very well have been the deciding factor which led to the Allied victory. He personally commanded his forces in many of the toughest and most decisive battles of the war: in Tunisia, in Sicily, in the cracking of the Siegfried Line, in holding back the German advance during the Battle of the Bulge, in the exceptionally bloody fighting around Bastogne in December 1944 and January 1945.

During the war Patton had respected the courage and the fighting qualities of the Germans — especially when he compared them with those of some of America’s allies — but he had also swallowed whole the hate-inspired wartime propaganda generated by America’s alien media masters. He believed Germany was a menace to America’s freedom and that Germany’s National Socialist government was an especially evil institution. Acting on these beliefs he talked incessantly of his desire to kill as many Germans as possible, and he exhorted his troops to have the same goal. These bloodthirsty exhortations led to the nickname “Blood and Guts” Patton.

General George Smith Patton, the toughest and most successful commander in the U.S. Army during World War II, learned the truth about that war and tried to warn America. He was the sort of honest, straightforward, fearless man who has always been hated and feared by the devious conspirators behind the scenes of power politics. Patton was killed before he could publicly arouse American opposition to the conspirators, and then they began weeding other leaders of his quality from the U.S. armed forces and replacing them with shabbos goyim, ambition-motivated careerists without honor or scruple who would do what they were told and keep their mouths shut.

It was only in the final days of the war and during his tenure as military governor of Germany — after he had gotten to know both the Germans and America’s “gallant Soviet allies” — that Patton’s understanding of the true situation grew and his opinions changed. In his diary and in many letters to his family, friends, and various military colleagues and government officials, he expressed his new understanding and his apprehensions for the future. His diary and his letters were published in 1974 by the Houghton Mifflin Company under the title The Patton Papers.

Several months before the end of the war, General Patton had recognized the fearful danger to the West posed by the Soviet Union, and he had disagreed bitterly with the orders which he had been given to hold back his army and wait for the Red Army to occupy vast stretches of German, Czech, Rumanian, Hungarian, and Yugoslav territory which the Americans could have easily taken instead.

On May 7, 1945, just before the German capitulation, Patton had a conference in Austria with U.S. Secretary of War Robert Patterson. Patton was gravely concerned over the Soviet failure to respect the demarcation lines separating the Soviet and American occupation zones. He was also alarmed by plans in Washington for the immediate partial demobilization of the U.S. Army.

Patton said to Patterson: “Let’s keep our boots polished, bayonets sharpened, and present a picture of force and strength to the Red Army. This is the only language they understand and respect.”

Patterson replied, “Oh, George, you have been so close to this thing so long, you have lost sight of the big picture.”

Patton rejoined: “I understand the situation. Their [the Soviet] supply system is inadequate to maintain them in a serious action such as I could put to them. They have chickens in the coop and cattle on the hoof — that’s their supply system. They could probably maintain themselves in the type of fighting I could give them for five days. After that it would make no difference how many million men they have, and if you wanted Moscow I could give it to you. They lived on the land coming down. There is insufficient left for them to maintain themselves going back. Let’s not give them time to build up their supplies. If we do, then . . . we have had a victory over the Germans and disarmed them, but we have failed in the liberation of Europe; we have lost the war!”

Patton’s urgent and prophetic advice went unheeded by Patterson and the other politicians and only served to give warning about Patton’s feelings to the alien conspirators behind the scenes in New York, Washington, and Moscow.

The more he saw of the Soviets, the stronger Patton’s conviction grew that the proper course of action would be to stifle communism then and there, while the chance existed. Later in May 1945 he attended several meetings and social affairs with top Red Army officers, and he evaluated them carefully. He noted in his diary on May 14: “I have never seen in any army at any time, including the German Imperial Army of 1912, as severe discipline as exists in the Russian army. The officers, with few exceptions, give the appearance of recently civilized Mongolian bandits.”

And Patton’s aide, General Hobart Gay, noted in his own journal for May 14: “Everything they [the Russians] did impressed one with the idea of virility and cruelty.”

Nevertheless, Patton knew that the Americans could whip the Reds then — but perhaps not later. On May 18 he noted in his diary: “In my opinion, the American Army as it now exists could beat the Russians with the greatest of ease, because, while the Russians have good infantry, they are lacking in artillery, air, tanks, and in the knowledge of the use of the combined arms, whereas we excel in all three of these. If it should be necessary to fight the Russians, the sooner we do it the better.”

Two days later he repeated his concern when he wrote his wife: “If we have to fight them, now is the time. From now on we will get weaker and they stronger.”

Having immediately recognized the Soviet danger and urged a course of action which would have freed all of eastern Europe from the communist yoke with the expenditure of far less American blood than was spilled in Korea and Vietnam and would have obviated both those later wars — not to mention World War III — Patton next came to appreciate the true nature of the people for whom World War II was fought: the Jews.

Most of the Jews swarming over Germany immediately after the war came from Poland and Russia, and Patton found their personal habits shockingly uncivilized.

He was disgusted by their behavior in the camps for Displaced Persons (DP’s) which the Americans built for them and even more disgusted by the way they behaved when they were housed in German hospitals and private homes. He observed with horror that “these people do not understand toilets and refuse to use them except as repositories for tin cans, garbage, and refuse . . . They decline, where practicable, to use latrines, preferring to relieve themselves on the floor.”

He described in his diary one DP camp, “where, although room existed, the Jews were crowded together to an appalling extent, and in practically every room there was a pile of garbage in one corner which was also used as a latrine. The Jews were only forced to desist from their nastiness and clean up the mess by the threat of the butt ends of rifles. Of course, I know the expression ‘lost tribes of Israel’ applied to the tribes which disappeared — not to the tribe of Judah from which the current sons of bitches are descended. However, it is my personal opinion that this too is a lost tribe — lost to all decency.”

Patton’s initial impressions of the Jews were not improved when he attended a Jewish religious service at Eisenhower’s insistence. His diary entry for September 17, 1945, reads in part: “This happened to be the feast of Yom Kippur, so they were all collected in a large, wooden building, which they called a synagogue. It behooved General Eisenhower to make a speech to them. We entered the synagogue, which was packed with the greatest stinking bunch of humanity I have ever seen. When we got about halfway up, the head rabbi, who was dressed in a fur hat similar to that worn by Henry VIII of England and in a surplice heavily embroidered and very filthy, came down and met the General . . . The smell was so terrible that I almost fainted and actually about three hours later lost my lunch as the result of remembering it.”

These experiences and a great many others firmly convinced Patton that the Jews were an especially unsavory variety of creature and hardly deserving of all the official concern the American government was bestowing on them. Another September diary entry, following a demand from Washington that more German housing be turned over to Jews, summed up his feelings: “Evidently the virus started by Morgenthau and Baruch of a Semitic revenge against all Germans is still working. Harrison [a U.S. State Department official] and his associates indicate that they feel German civilians should be removed from houses for the purpose of housing Displaced Persons. There are two errors in this assumption. First, when we remove an individual German we punish an individual German, while the punishment is not intended for the individual but for the race. Furthermore, it is against my Anglo-Saxon conscience to remove a person from a house, which is a punishment, without due process of law. In the second place, Harrison and his ilk believe that the Displaced Person is a human being, which he is not, and this applies particularly to the Jews, who are lower than animals.”

Henry Morgenthau, Secretary of the Treasury (1934–1945) and a top adviser to President Roosevelt, formulated the notorious “Morgenthau Plan” for the postwar destruction of Germany. Inspired by a Talmudic hatred for the Germans, who had dared to lift their hands against “God’s Chosen People,” Morgenthau’s scheme called for the total destruction of Germany’s industry and natural resources and for starving 30,000,000 Germans to death. Thus, Morgenthau hoped for a Jewish revenge against the Germans and the simultaneous delivery of Europe to his Marxist brethren in Moscow. Fortunately, Patton’s 1945 warnings finally took hold, and in 1947 the Morgenthau Plan was scrapped.

One of the strongest factors in straightening out General Patton’s thinking on the conquered Germans was the behavior of America’s controlled news media toward them. At a press conference in Regensburg, Germany, on May 8, 1945, immediately after Germany’s surrender, Patton was asked whether he planned to treat captured SS troops differently from other German POW’s. His answer was: “No. SS means no more in Germany than being a Democrat in America — that is not to be quoted. I mean by that that initially the SS people were special sons of bitches, but as the war progressed they ran out of sons of bitches and then they put anybody in there. Some of the top SS men will be treated as criminals, but there is no reason for trying someone who was drafted into this outfit . . .”

Despite Patton’s request that his remark not be quoted, the press eagerly seized on it, and Jews and their front men in America screamed in outrage over Patton’s comparison of the SS and the Democratic Party as well as over his announced intention of treating most SS prisoners humanely.

Patton refused to take hints from the press, however, and his disagreement with the American occupation policy formulated in Washington grew. Later in May he said to his brother-in-law: “I think that this non-fraternization is very stupid. If we are going to keep American soldiers in a country, they have to have some civilians to talk to. Furthermore, I think we could do a lot for the German civilians by letting our soldiers talk to their young people.”

Various of Patton’s colleagues tried to make it perfectly clear what was expected of him. One politically ambitious officer, Brig. Gen. Philip S. Gage, anxious to please the powers that be, wrote to Patton: “Of course, I know that even your extensive powers are limited, but I do hope that wherever and whenever you can you will do what you can to make the German populace suffer. For God’s sake, please don’t ever go soft in regard to them. Nothing could ever be too bad for them.”

But Patton continued to do what he thought was right, whenever he could. With great reluctance, and only after repeated promptings from Eisenhower, he had thrown German families out of their homes to make room for more than a million Jewish DP’s — part of the famous “six million” who had supposedly been gassed — but he balked when ordered to begin blowing up German factories, in accord with the infamous Morgenthau Plan to destroy Germany’s economic basis forever. In his diary he wrote: “I doubted the expediency of blowing up factories, because the ends for which the factories are being blown up — that is, preventing Germany from preparing for war — can be equally well attained through the destruction of their machinery, while their buildings can be used to house thousands of homeless persons.”

Similarly, he expressed his doubts to his military colleagues about the overwhelming emphasis being placed on the persecution of every German who had formerly been a member of the National Socialist party. In a letter to his wife of September 14, 1945, he said: “I am frankly opposed to this war criminal stuff. It is not cricket and is Semitic. I am also opposed to sending POW’s to work as slaves in foreign lands, where many will be starved to death.”

Despite his disagreement with official policy, Patton followed the rules laid down by Morgenthau and others back in Washington as closely as his conscience would allow, but he tried to moderate the effect, and this brought him into increasing conflict with Eisenhower and the other politically ambitious generals. In another letter to his wife he commented: “I have been at Frankfurt for a civil government conference. If what we are doing [to the Germans] is ‘Liberty, then give me death.’ I can’t see how Americans can sink so low. It is Semitic, and I am sure of it.”

And in his diary he noted: “Today we received orders . . . in which we were told to give the Jews special accommodations. If for Jews, why not Catholics, Mormons, etc? . . . We are also turning over to the French several hundred thousand prisoners of war to be used as slave labor in France. It is amusing to recall that we fought the Revolution in defense of the rights of man and the Civil War to abolish slavery and have now gone back on both principles.”

His duties as military governor took Patton to all parts of Germany and intimately acquainted him with the German people and their condition. He could not help but compare them with the French, the Italians, the Belgians, and even the British. This comparison gradually forced him to the conclusion that World War II had been fought against the wrong people.

After a visit to ruined Berlin, he wrote his wife on July 23, 1945: “Berlin gave me the blues. We have destroyed what could have been a good race, and we are about to replace them with Mongolian savages. And all Europe will be communist. It’s said that for the first week after they took it [Berlin], all women who ran were shot and those who did not were raped. I could have taken it [instead of the Soviets] had I been allowed.”

This conviction, that the politicians had used him and the U.S. Army for a criminal purpose, grew in the following weeks. During a dinner with French General Alphonse Juin in August, Patton was surprised to find the Frenchman in agreement with him. His diary entry for August 18 quotes Gen. Juin: “It is indeed unfortunate, mon General, that the English and the Americans have destroyed in Europe the only sound country — and I do not mean France. Therefore, the road is now open for the advent of Russian communism.”

Later diary entries and letters to his wife reiterate this same conclusion. On August 31 he wrote: “Actually, the Germans are the only decent people left in Europe. It’s a choice between them and the Russians. I prefer the Germans.” And on September 2: “What we are doing is to destroy the only semi-modern state in Europe, so that Russia can swallow the whole.”

By this time the Morgenthauists and media monopolists had decided that Patton was incorrigible and must be discredited. So they began a non-stop hounding of him in the press, à la Watergate, accusing him of being “soft on Nazis” and continually recalling an incident in which he had slapped a shirker two years previously, during the Sicily campaign. A New York newspaper printed the completely false claim that when Patton had slapped the soldier, who was Jewish, he had called him a “yellow-bellied Jew.”

Then, in a press conference on September 22, reporters hatched a scheme to needle Patton into losing his temper and making statements which could be used against him. The scheme worked. The press interpreted one of Patton’s answers to their insistent questions as to why he was not pressing the Nazi-hunt hard enough as: “The Nazi thing is just like a Democrat-Republican fight.” The New York Times headlined this quote, and other papers all across America picked it up.

The unmistakable hatred which had been directed at him during this press conference finally opened Patton’s eyes fully as to what was afoot. In his diary that night he wrote: “There is a very apparent Semitic influence in the press. They are trying to do two things: first, implement communism, and second, see that all businessmen of German ancestry and non-Jewish antecedents are thrown out of their jobs. They have utterly lost the Anglo-Saxon conception of justice and feel that a man can be kicked out because somebody else says he is a Nazi. They were evidently quite shocked when I told them I would kick nobody out without the successful proof of guilt before a court of law . . . Another point which the press harped on was the fact that we were doing too much for the Germans to the detriment of the DP’s, most of whom are Jews. I could not give the answer to that one, because the answer is that, in my opinion and that of most non-political officers, it is vitally necessary for us to build Germany up now as a buffer state against Russia. In fact, I am afraid we have waited too long.”

And in a letter of the same date to his wife: “I will probably be in the headlines before you get this, as the press is trying to quote me as being more interested in restoring order in Germany than in catching Nazis. I can’t tell them the truth that unless we restore Germany we will insure that communism takes America.”

Eisenhower responded immediately to the press outcry against Patton and made the decision to relieve him of his duties as military governor and “kick him upstairs” as the commander of the Fifteenth Army. In a letter to his wife on September 29 Patton indicated that he was, in a way, not unhappy with his new assignment, because “I would like it much better than being a sort of executioner to the best race in Europe.”

But even his change of duties did not shut Patton up. In his diary entry of October 1 we find the observation: “In thinking over the situation, I could not but be impressed with the belief that at the present moment the unblemished record of the American Army for non-political activities is about to be lost. Everyone seems to be more interested in the effects which his actions will have on his political future than in carrying out the motto of the United States Military Academy, ‘Duty, Honor, Country.’ I hope that after the current crop of political aspirants has been gathered our former tradition will be restored.”

U.S. government policy toward Germany immediately after World War II was determined by hate-crazed Jews, who wanted to crucify future generations of Germans. These two German children — and millions of others — were saved from death by starvation and allowed to begin rebuilding their country only after General Patton’s warnings had alerted Gentile leaders in America to the Soviet danger which would be raised by the annihilation of the German people.

And Patton continued to express these sentiments to his friends — and those he thought were his friends. On October 22 he wrote a long letter to Maj. Gen. James G. Harbord, who was back in the States. In the letter Patton bitterly condemned the Morgenthau policy; Eisenhower’s pusillanimous behavior in the face of Jewish demands; the strong pro-Soviet bias in the press; and the politicization, corruption, degradation, and demoralization of the U.S. Army which these things were causing.

He saw the demoralization of the Army as a deliberate goal of America’s enemies: “I have been just as furious as you at the compilation of lies which the communist and Semitic elements of our government have levelled against me and practically every other commander. In my opinion it is a deliberate attempt to alienate the soldier vote from the commanders, because the communists know that soldiers are not communistic, and they fear what eleven million votes [of veterans] would do.”

His denunciation of the politicization of the Army was scathing: “All the general officers in the higher brackets receive each morning from the War Department a set of American [newspaper] headlines, and, with the sole exception of myself, they guide themselves during the ensuing day by what they have read in the papers. . . .”

In his letter to Harbord, Patton also revealed his own plans to fight those who were destroying the morale and integrity of the Army and endangering America’s future by not opposing the growing Soviet might: “It is my present thought . . . that when I finish this job, which will be around the first of the year, I shall resign, not retire, because if I retire I will still have a gag in my mouth. . . . I should not start a limited counter-attack, which would be contrary to my military theories, but should wait until I can start an all-out offensive . . . .”

Two months later, on December 23, 1945, General George S. Patton was silenced forever.
