68-Year-Old Dies After Anaphylactic Reaction to COVID Vaccine as CDC Continues to Ignore Inquiry Into Increasing Number of Deaths

VAERS data released today showed 44,606 reports of adverse events following COVID vaccines, including 2,050 deaths and 7,095 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and March 19, 2021.

Data released today by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on the number of injuries and deaths reported to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) following COVID vaccines showed that between Dec. 14, 2020 and March 19, 2021, there were 44,606 reports of adverse events, including 2,050 deaths and 7,095 serious injuries.

In the U.S., 118.3 million COVID vaccine doses had been administered as of March 19.

VAERS is the primary mechanism for reporting adverse vaccine reactions in the U.S. Reports submitted to VAERS require further investigation before a causal relationship can be confirmed. Every Friday, the CDC makes public all VAERS vaccine injury reports received as of the previous week.

This week’s VAERS data included 2,306 reports of anaphylaxis. Fifty-five percent of anaphylaxis reports were attributed to the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, 45% to Moderna and 1% to the Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine, which was rolled out in the U.S. on March 2.

As The Defender reported earlier this month, the J&J vaccine contains polysorbate 80, known to trigger allergic reactions. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines contain polyethylene glycol (PEG), also known to trigger anaphylactic reactions.

The latest news report of an anaphylactic reaction to a COVID vaccine was of a 68-year-old Kansas woman who died a day after receiving the vaccine. According to EMS dispatch records, the woman had an allergic reaction at a vaccine clinic site around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, KMBC reported. She had difficulty breathing and speaking and was injected with an EpiPen.

Kansas Department of Health and Environment spokesperson Kristi Zears told The Wichita Eagle that Evans had an anaphylactic reaction during a waiting period after receiving the shot. She was transported to the hospital and pronounced dead a day later. It is not clear whether Evans had underlying health conditions and the Kansas health agency did not indicate which COVID vaccine was administered.

According to the CDC’s website, “the CDC follows up on any report of death to request additional information and learn more about what occurred and to determine whether the death was a result of the vaccine or unrelated.”

To date, the only information the CDC has published related to the investigation of COVID vaccine-related deaths and how those investigations were conducted is a COVID-19 Vaccine Safety Update via the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), published on Jan. 27.

On March 8, The Defender contacted the CDC with questions about reported deaths and injuries related to COVID vaccines. We provided a written list of questions about how the CDC conducts investigations into reported deaths, the status of investigations on deaths reported in the media, if autopsies are being done and the standard for determining whether an injury is causally connected to a vaccine.

We also inquired about whether healthcare providers are reporting all injuries and deaths that might be connected to the COVID vaccine, and what education initiatives are in place to encourage and facilitate proper and accurate reporting.

As of today, 18 days later, the CDC has not responded or followed up with our calls or emails. We have contacted them numerous times and are either told “they received the email,” “they will escalate it and it is in the system” or their press officers are still reviewing it. After our most recent follow up call this Wednesday and giving them an updated deadline of 48 hours, we still have not heard back.

A look at the numbers

Overall, the data released today reflects trends that have been emerging since The Defender first began tracking VAERS reports related to COVID vaccines.

This week’s VAERS data show:

As of March 19, 321 pregnant women had reported adverse events related to COVID vaccines, including 97 reports of miscarriage or premature birth. None of the COVID vaccines approved for Emergency Use Authorization has been confirmed safe or effective for pregnant women, although J&J said earlier this month it would begin testing on pregnant women, infants and the immunocompromised.
535 cases of Bell’s Palsy. Of those, 64% of cases were reported after Pfizer-BioNTech vaccinations — almost twice as many as reported (36%) following vaccination with the Moderna vaccine. Three cases of Bell’s Palsy were reported with J&J’s vaccine (about 1%).

Physicians sound alarm about need for pre-screening

Meanwhile, concerns about mass vaccination continued to make national and international headlines this week.

As The Defender reported Tuesday, Dr. Hooman Noorchashm, cardiothoracic surgeon and patient safety advocate, said we’re taking the COVID pandemic problem — where a half-percent of the population is susceptible to dying — and compounding it by vaccinating people who are already infected. In an interview with Fox News host and political commentator, Tucker Carlson, Noorchasm said public health officials are making a “dramatic error” by promoting a “one-size-fits-all” COVID vaccination program:

“… the signal is deafening, the people who are having complications or adverse events are the people who have recently or are currently or previously infected [with COVID]. I don’t think we can ignore this.”

Noorchashm believes that a #ScreenB4Vaccine campaign could save millions from vaccine injuries. He is promoting a screening campaign that consists of “PCR or Rapid Antigen test to determine if there is an active infection and an IgG antibody test that would allow determination of a past infection. If either of these tests are positive, vaccination ought to be delayed for a minimum of 3 – 6 months,” Noorchasm told The Defender. “If at that time IgG levels are waning, it is reasonable to consider getting a vaccine shot. But even then, blood IgG levels should guide whether or not a person gets vaccinated.”

Noorchasm sent a third communication to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration this week, warning that deaths like that of 32-year-old Benjamin G. Goodman, who died after receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, could have been prevented, and that there will be more deaths unless people are screened before being vaccinated.

An article in The Hill this week, by several physicians, also suggested that people be prescreened for COVID before being vaccinated.

The physicians wrote:

“A closer look at the level of protection obtained by a single shot vaccine regimen for those who are ‘COVID-primed’ is needed. Rigorous, effective and efficient antibody prescreening tools to identify these individuals would be required as well.”

AstraZeneca under fire in U.S. and Europe

As far as individual vaccines, AstraZeneca garnered the most headlines this week, in Europe and the U.S.

On March 22, The Defender reported that two independent research teams in Norway and Germany identified antibodies that provoke immune reactions leading to the type of blood clots experienced by some people who received AstraZeneca’s COVID vaccine.

Although many countries resumed their vaccination program with AstraZeneca’s vaccine after the EMA’s preliminary findings, some countries, including France, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, did not lift their restrictions on its use.

According to Reuters, Finland announced Wednesday it was still looking into two cases of blood clots but would resume using the AstraZeneca vaccine against COVID for people aged 65 and over. Finland plans to complete its investigation by April 6 at the earliest.

On March 23, U.S. health officials accused AstraZeneca of misrepresenting efficacy data when it included “outdated information” in its clinical trial results, which may have led to the vaccine maker providing the public with an incomplete view of its efficacy data, The Defender reported.

The statement by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases came less than a day after the pharmaceutical company said its vaccine was 79% effective against COVID and 100% effective against severe or critical disease and hospitalization.

AstraZeneca released updated information on its COVID-19 clinical trial Wednesday which showed an efficacy rate of 76% against symptomatic COVID infection instead of the 79% figure released Monday. The estimated efficacy in people over 65 rose slightly, from 80% to 85%. The vaccine maker identified no safety concerns related to the vaccine.

On March 24, the Ukrainian government urged the public not to jump to conclusions after a servicewoman died two days after getting the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine, reported Fox News. Although the woman reportedly had chronic cardiovascular disease and other comorbidities, she experienced no side effects from the vaccine before she suddenly lost consciousness.

According to Reuters, nine other people were given the vaccine from the same batch on the same day and had no ill effects.

Dystopian nightmares or the message of Fatima

In the 1960s and 70s, some saw the possibility that a totalitarian system which subjugated the masses could be installed here if we were not diligent. The attitude that “it could never happen here” was also bantered about. Those who were astute, however, knew better. Alexander Solzhenitsyn, the Russian expatriate author, warned the American people in the 1970s that we were on the same path as his native Russia, as we continued to move away from spirituality toward secularism. He pointed out that totalitarian control of his countrymen’s physical lives was not the real goal. Elimination of God and the attributes that accompany holiness and natural thought were, and continue to be, the real target.

Science fiction writers, such as Ray Bradbury and George Orwell, presented eerie possibilities of the future in their writings. The technocracies that were the settings for their work were drab and inhuman landscapes devoid of the earmarks of artistic inspiration and built only with functionality in mind. There was no place for religion and spirituality of any sort in these worlds, where the state had become the deity that was to be obeyed. Tracking of individuals to control their very thoughts and actions was the norm. The populace lived as functionaries of the state.

Orwell’s classic 1984 features a protagonist named Winston, who works for the Ministry of Truth. His job was the rewriting of language to fit the party line. In Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451, the main character is Montag, a “fireman” of sorts. His job is to find books, all of which have been outlawed, and burn them. By doing so they could keep the “radical” ideas found therein away from the populace, who are generally content to receive information from the large telescreens in their homes. Kept in line by fear, the populace obeys the dictates of the state.

In both stories these men come to the realization that the systems in which they are functioning are, in fact, dystopian nightmares, devoid of the human essence. Both stories revolve around their enlightenment, their acts of defiance and their responses to the persecutions that result from their actions. What both characters have in common is the realization that the government line is not in accord with natural law or human reality.

In 1984, Winston breaks the rules and becomes secretly involved with a woman named Julia, an activity that must be sanctioned by the state. While they are together, he speaks nostalgically about his youth. He remembers that there were churches in those days. They trust a man who they believe is a member of the underground resistance movement, but is a member of the Party. Eventually they are both arrested and taken to a facility for re-education.

In Fahrenheit 451, Montag begins to secretly take books from their raids and establish a collection, which his wife, Linda, eventually discovers. When she confronts him with the reality that he is a criminal, she questions why he would risk his position to engage in such activities. “I have to catch up with the past,” Montag says. He then criticizes her and her friends for allowing themselves to be brainwashed by programming on the television. Eventually she betrays him to the authorities.

Both Winston and Montag are caught in their subversive activities, but the stories have different endings. The “criminal” Montag is chased by the flying drone police and when he is not found, they simulate his televised execution as (he) runs. After his staged execution, Montag chooses exile amongst the “Book People” who live beyond the tracks and memorize books. He lives on with a mission and hope that he will be part of building a better world in the future. Winston, however, acquiesces to the societal coercion and accepts the party line, exclaiming in the end, “Long live big brother.”

We live in a world perhaps not as drab and dark as these futuristic worlds, but in one, nonetheless, influenced by the culture of “corporatocracy,” where we are inundated with consumerism and largely influenced by norms established by a secular mentality, establishing a line of thinking contrary to Christian principles. The cancel culture that marginalizes people for taking positions not in line with this group thinking brings us dangerously in the direction of these science fiction stories. Although futuristic when written, these stories paint a scary picture when we consider the technology of today.

As a frequent flier, I travel through airports with ease. Retinal scanners and pre-check status allows me to bypass security – convenient, but also invasive. Our technology can easily become dehumanizing. In the hands of evil people, it becomes the tool of the devil as in these “fictional” stories. We must never allow societal waves to move us away from natural thought.

In his classic book One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, speaking of the conditions in the Siberian gulag, Solzhenitsyn states, “Men have forgotten God; that is why all these things have happened.”

People and societies that decline voluntary servitude to Divine law gravitate to human servitude. Those who attain holiness discern more clearly the world around them. As we grow in sanctity, we have a clearer picture of how to act. It is our duty to attempt correcting the things in our society that are moving us towards totalitarian rule, and away from Divine influence. We are asked to not only reach deep inside to know right actions, but to find the courage to change what is not right. This is the Christian message. Only through prayer can we find the strength to stand for what is right. If faced with these decisions, we must decide if we will be like Winston or Montag.

The Fatima message instructs us to stand for the rights of God. Pray for the strength to stand up for our beliefs and work to bring back a society that reflects our Catholic values. Government actions must support the dignity of all humanity if it is to be legitimate. The future of our world depends on our diligence. Let us work to change the world.

In 1994, a few dozen armed Yemenite Jews barricaded themselves in a home in the central Israel city of Yehud. They would not leave, they warned, until an official investigation was launched into allegations that Yemenite children had been systematically abducted and handed over to Ashkenazi families – sometimes in exchange for money – in the early years of the state. Their leader was a radical rabbi named Uzi Meshulam, who threatened bloodshed. The standoff lasted seven weeks, and Meshulam ended up serving nearly six years in prison.

Hanegbi, who was intervied by Channel 2’s “Meet the Press,” was referring to a 65-year-old affair that returned to the headlines a few months ago. Between 1948 and 1954, between 1,500 and 5,000 children, mainly Yemenite toddlers, were reported missing, with many parents being told their children had died, sparking claims they were taken and given to Ashkenazi couples.

Hanegbi, tasked with reviewing archived material on the affair, said he hoped the disclosures would answer the long-standing questions about the fate of the children. One question left unanswered was whether the establishment was aware of, or even complicit in, the affair. “We may never know,” Hanegbi told program host Rina Matzliah.

In 2001, the Kedmi Committee, charged with examining allegations of the children’s disappearance, determined that there was no factual basis of organized “abduction” of Yemenite children. That committee, and two others, determined that most had died of illness and a minority had been adopted.

Retired Justice Yaacov Kedmi, the committee’s chairman, died in July, aged 85, leaving many questions unanswered, including the fate of a few dozen children.

The committee’s conduct and professionalism was questioned by families, legal experts and the media, including Haaretz, which published a series of investigative reports on the affair.

Hanegbi’s statements, as the senior official in charge of examining the matter at the behest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, bolster the struggle of many Yemenite families to know the truth about the missing children. The families believe the children disappeared as the result of a secret, official policy by which they were given to childless Ashkenazi Holocaust survivors.

The story reached the headlines again and came before the Knesset over the past few months due to the activities of organizations that published testimony by families of Yemenite origin who believe the children were taken and the facts covered up.

“The issue of the Yemenite children is an open wound that continues to bleed in many families who do not know what happened to the babies, to children that disappeared, and they are looking for the truth,” Netanyahu said last month.

Hanegbi began examining heretofore confidential documents in the State Archives. About 1.5 million pages of documents were collected by the three investigative committees that have discussed the affair since the 1960s. Some will remain sealed for several more decades.

“It’s an ocean of material,” Hanegbi told Matzliah. “I’m reading testimony of nurses, social workers and people who admitted the children to hospitals and a variety of people, each of whom saw a small piece of the puzzle,” he said.

Hanegbi said he was not given access to all the material — adoption records, for example. He explained that only a judge can allow records of this type to be unsealed. He said the government is seeking a solution that would allow him to see such files as part of his investigation.

It was reported earlier this month that as part of his probe, Hanegbi asked the head of the Shin Bet security service and of the Mossad as to their stand on the release of classified documents involving the actions of these two agencies with regard to the disappearance of the children.

Hanegbi said that he would continue to examine the material until October, at which time he would recommend that the government release the material to the public. “My recommendation will be to release the material, to allow any person, at a click on the internet, to reach a site where all the material that has been released can be seen.”

He said the material has already begun to be scanned so that as soon as the government decides to make it public it can do so.

3,964 DEAD 162,610 Injuries: European Database of Adverse Drug Reactions for COVID-19 “Vaccines”

The European database of suspected drug reaction reports, EudraVigilance, is now tracking reports of injuries and deaths following the experimental COVID-19 “vaccines.”

Here is what EudraVigilance states about their database:

This website was launched by the European Medicines Agency in 2012 to provide public access to reports of suspected side effects (also known as suspected adverse drug reactions). These reports are submitted electronically to EudraVigilance by national medicines regulatory authorities and by pharmaceutical companies that hold marketing authorisations (licences) for the medicines.
EudraVigilance is a system designed for collecting reports of suspected side effects. These reports are used for evaluating the benefits and risks of medicines during their development and monitoring their safety following their authorisation in the European Economic Area (EEA). EudraVigilance has been in use since December 2001.
This website was launched to comply with the EudraVigilance Access Policy, which was developed to improve public health by supporting the monitoring of the safety of medicines and to increase transparency for stakeholders, including the general public.
The Management Board of the European Medicines Agency first approved the EudraVigilance Access Policy in December 2010. A revision was adopted by the Board in December 2015 based on the 2010 pharmacovigilance legislation. The policy aims to provide stakeholders such as national medicines regulatory authorities in the EEA, the European Commission, healthcare professionals, patients and consumers, as well as the pharmaceutical industry and research organisations, with access to reports on suspected side effects.
Transparency is a key guiding principle of the Agency, and is pivotal to building trust and confidence in the regulatory process. By increasing transparency, the Agency is better able to address the growing need among stakeholders, including the general public, for access to information. (Source.)

Their report through March 13, 2021 lists 3,964 deaths and 162,610 injuries following injections of three experimental COVID-19 shots:

COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE MODERNA (CX-024414), COVID-19 MRNA VACCINE PFIZER-BIONTECH (TOZINAMERAN), and COVID-19 VACCINE ASTRAZENECA (CHADOX1 NCOV-19).

There is also data for a fourth experimental COVID “vaccine,” COVID-19 VACCINE JANSSEN (AD26.COV2.S). We have not included data from the Johnson and Johnson COVID shot in this report, but will do so in future reports.
