Revenge

Revenge

I cannot exact revenge
Because it is forbidden of me
All my wishes would be granted
But the price is much too high
This test I have already encountered
The gratification in no way matched the sorrow
To seek a selfish legitimacy cannot be of your own doing
Only through the singularity of free will can we all find a common justice
If you seek revenge through prayer
You will encounter God’s resentment, and perhaps wrath
If you seek a moral righteousness
You will encounter God along your journey
