D-Day Refelection

D-Day Reflection

Those who call upon God to grant them victory over the absurdity of war, instead evoke the Devil and all his machinations.

Those who thank God for their hollow victories do so to preserve their dominion over the naïveté of humankind.

Those who recall the ugliness of war do so in an endeavour to consummate its eventual return.

Those who seek the comfort of peace find themselves entrapped within the barbed wire that separates heaven from hell.

Those who discern that we are the Machiavellian pawns of kings, queens, emperors and princes(ses) are enlightened to the arrogance of war's commemoration.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
