Canada Versus China
The more I listen to mainstream news the more I shake my head. I feel like the toy jackass sitting next to the rear window of my father's '55 Chevy.
Andrew Scheer announced that we should impose tariffs on China's imports and take a firmer diplomatic stance. This Conservative boy is wondering if Scheer has lost his mind.
What Canadian politicians don't seem to understand is that China requires NO imports from Canada, but we as a nation, have become extremely dependant on China's imports. China can obtain all the livestock, natural resources and agricultural products it needs from Europe, Africa and South America. It DOES NOT need Canada.
Other than Canadian tourism and the little atomic energy technology we sell China, China is virtually self-dependant. Instead, we should thank China for making every Canadian real estate developer a billionaire, and every Canadian homeowner a millionaire.
The only reason China needs the USA is because the USA has vital science China requires for its technology industries.
Once again, I must express the importance of teaching our kids science, math and technology, and not French, history and geography. Once we have re-established a strong science-based educational curriculum, then we should start firing 75% of the redundant teachers with Arts Degrees, and start hiring individuals with math, science and technology degrees. The Ontario College of Teachers is a refuse for nepotism and incompetence, and an unnecessary relic of the past.
The two minute conversation between Xi Jinping and Justinian Trudeau likely went as follows:
When can we expect Meng Wanzhou to come home? Sayonara, Ciao, Auf vie de sen, Au Revoir, Ola, Good-bye, Zaijian and say hi to uncle Raul. By the way, tuck your tail between your legs.
Ok - so it's time to let Meng go home. The game of cat and mouse has concluded with Canada being the cat and China the mouse - the USA has been looking on as Tweetie bird. Please refer to the Disney cartoon characters if you do not get it.
Thank you,
