Less Than a Monad

Less Than a Monad

A human’s last temptation has many possibilities. For some, it may have been the desire to have lived as the Christ, for others it may have been to contemplate one's unfulfilled acts of evil that failed to come to fruition. For others it may have been the realization that life was far too short, and one neglected its fundamental meaning. For most, death will arrive as an invisible stranger, void of perceptibility.

The doorway that leads to the “deep abyss” of the nether-place is one directional. The fleshless skeletal key, that unlocks the mystery of the nether-place, was something we always feared to possess, yet we always knew the locksmith would appear to greet us one day.

It is only when we traverse the threshold of flesh and matter that our journey to find the ineffable One begins. We become infinitely less than a monad and as inconsequential as the ant we had no time to understand, greet, and more importantly, contemplate when we walked the physical plane.

Our journey to the end of the beginning of time will be filled with untold obstacles, for God knew from the onset that His creation would forget of Him with expedient haste.

Do you believe that a just God would discard His judiciousness to appease a soul who chases the absurdity of matter at the expense of eternal salvation, and neglects all that matters?

Think once, think twice, think thrice and then think of God’s ultimate judgement every moment you take-in a breathe from God’s lung. For it is within that breath that God grants you another chance.

Your last breath will determine if you enter that passageway as a stranger.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
