opinions are variations of the truth

......opinions are variations of the truth, derived from Source, and should sound minds prevail, they will merge into a singularity known as the truth....... truth and consciousness, are one and they are God...... For Jesus to have become truth, Jesus must be of God. ......

a friend me asked the following:

AN INTELLIGENT PERSON CANNOT MAKE SENSE OF ANY OF THIS!

What Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura wrote about Christianity:

"Some philosophers say that because of the first living entity's sin, all the other living entities are imprisoned in the material world. Later, punishing Himself for their sins, God delivers the living entities."

"Deliberating on the virtues and faults of this world, some moralistic monotheists concluded that the material world is not a place of pure happiness. Indeed, the sufferings outweigh the pleasures. They claim that the material world is a prison to punish the living entities. If there is punishment, then there must be a crime. If there were no crime, then why would there be any punishment? What crime did the living entities commit? Unable to properly answer this question, some men of small intelligence gave birth to a very wild idea. God created the first man and placed him in a pleasant garden with his wife. Then God forbade the man to taste the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Following the evil counsel of a wicked being [a snake], the first man and woman tasted the fruit of the tree of knowledge, thus disobeying God's command. In this way they fell from that garden into the material world filled with sufferings. Because of their offense, all other living entities are offenders from the moment of their birth. Not seeing any other way to remove this offense, God Himself took birth in a humanlike form, took on His own shoulders the sins of His followers, and then died [was crucified]. All who follow Him easily attain liberation, and all who do not follow Him fall into an eternal Hell. In this way God assumes a humanlike form, punishes Himself, and thus liberates the living entities. An intelligent person cannot make sense of any of this!" ......... (Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in his book, Tattva-viveka)

my reply:

Original Man could not have possibly known of the creation story, nor of his own incarnation in the creation story. I do not necessarily believe God was a direct Creator. I do however, believe in the intervention of higher beings in our Creation. Satan, as a Fallen Angel, could have provided an avenue to disguise or nullify God's existence to original Man and present himself as the astral authority.

God as the source of all thought, knew what Satan had done, and He then punished Man when they failed to comply with the original interventionists' rules. This could explain why God personally intervened - to correct Man's future path and make the Source of all Creation known. God then sent His Son to redeem Man, for man continued to err. Jesus' Theomorphic transformation, suffering upon the cross, resurrection and ascension provided the narrative and rules for Man's ultimate eternal salvation (i.e. death is a corridor to eternity).

Instinctually a child knows they have been created, but it is oral tradition, the parents, society, and ultimately Jesus that provide some answer to our existence. The First Man learned this lesson not from his first breath outside the womb, but rather as an adult from God.
