How Much Love…

How much love did you give away today, or

Did your good nature go astray

What was the purpose of your last occurring smile

Was it offered in admiration or in envious rile

Who’s hand did you have an opportunity to hold

Were your fingers’ embrace warm or unknowingly cold

Did you have a chance to greet a passing stranger

Letting go of the imaginary danger

Did you rise to help the human race, or

Did you seek comfort in a cowards embrace.
