Death is Never Far Away

Death is Never Far Away

Death is never far away

Always looking for a friend in which to play

It exhibits no xenophobic traits

In fact, it does not distinguish between religious faiths

It does not matter if you are young or old

The fallen can be chosen amongst any generational fold

It does not matter if you are rich or poor

For it scoffs at all delusions of grandeur

Death is something we do our best to neglect

Often times it leaves behind only regret

Consider life as an open door

And death an infinite journey to explore

Thank you,
