my mind
its whereabouts is a mystery
it has no biological positioning
it cannot be touched or identified
sight is blinded by its presence
have i lost my mind
where in God’s name did it go
for i cannot find it
but i know that it is hiding somewhere
my mind filters my imagination
words appear with every breath
words appear with every breath
the brain conjoins my illusive thoughts
hands compose words i’ve never spoken
its workings more illusive than a whisper
more alive than a heartbeat
it thrives within the everlasting
for my mind is part of you
thank you,

My friend Dasa Tamohara states the following:
The Gita describes the "mind" as an organizational tool that works with the senses. Material mind is limited and conditioned, whereas spiritual mind is our best ally serving the purified intelligence focussed on service of Godhead. I tend to think of it as a programming and response-reaction software? It plots outcomes, is effected by karma and ego, has problems in its processing directions, is weakened by material limits, but also organizes and copes and steers toward desired outcomes; let us call it embroiled in our karma, manifestation of karma, but in the liberated state, the functioning is clear and blissful,
