God is within you
a soul should not gamble its eternal rest
falling prey to unending chaos
it must allow for the possibility of calm
a soul is a work in progress
requiring the temporal spirit to exhaust itself
a soul must seek adherence to the laws of its created nature
be desirous of the spiral’s path
avoiding membership in Tartarus’ theatre
transgressions are never ending
it’s easy to enter the realm of wickedness
needlessly experimenting within the fog of darkness
ultimately venturing atop unstable cobble
then finding oneself midst the company of the other cascading souls
atonement from the weary minister becomes an easy solution
but not the answer
a prayer requesting assistance to a forgotten saint might soon follow
but that too is not the answer
invariably one must seek forgiveness from self
for God is within you
