the colours we do not see
amethyst waters
blueberry skies
strawberry fields
rosy red tulips
it’s a marshmallow of wonderment
zebras gallivanting in black and white
shaming the naughty-tailed skunk
striped yellow caterpillars performing the crawl
a bouncing orange and black monarch butterfly
a child’s glowing silky hair
grandma’s pinkish cheeks and yellow teeth
grandpa’s hairy crack
humanity’s kaleidoscope
the scattered brains of a murdered child
a bomb’s shattered bones
the coloured smell of rotting flesh
a teardrop's hue
the colours we do not see
thank you,
joseph pede
