do you feel the weight
is the heart crying for something more
has the door closed
is darkness the only visible light
when did the tide turn
when did you let go of everything that mattered
when did it become easy to betray a friend
when did evil become an excuse
it didn't happen overnight
but you let it happen
you once stood to take a stand
now you have fallen
wallowing in the dirt with regret
when did you let go of Jesus
was it worth it
you forgot about the consequences
now you are lost
not knowing the way home
one too many left turns
is it not time to make it right
