What Makes "You" ?

Have you ever thought about who and what you are. Other than the visibly animated carcass, who you are?

Trans-humanism proposes a complete makeover for the humans - it will merge technology and biology to create Humans 2.0.

A quick synopsis would leave one to preclude that all the limbs, most of the abdominal area, the chest cavity and virtually all organs would be replaced by inorganic matter. Will the brain be replaced by some composite biological CPU?

When you factor all the possible changes, will Humans 2.0 become an improvement to our existing form or a sterile creation void of emotions, spirituality and purpose. Food, housing and healthcare will not be the primary needs for long life - an energy source will.

So what is a human? Once you remove flesh and bone, all that's left is a soul. The soul operates the body by controlling the functioning and bidirectional connections between the heart and brain. The brain uses ethereal software known as the mind to connect to consciousness, or God. A Robot will connect to PacMan 2.0.

If someone asked you, would you like to live forever, would you need a body. Perhaps all you would require is a heart and brain. But how do you preserve the soul? A soul makes you. You are a divine spiritual being, not inorganic matter.

So who are you?  Think about it. Once you remove everything you see in the mirror, what remains?
