Crossing the Abyss
Where did you sleep last night
It happened between the light and the dark
Can you remember
For your eyes grew heavy before you fell
It was the darkest night of your soul
Spasms moved your entire body
It was if you were crossing the abyss
Tempted by an unquantifiable peril
Can you remember
For when you awoke you had changed
Your mind had been cleansed of something
Your being raptured
Thank you,
Joseph Pede
