How bad could a UNION with the USA, just as the European Union, be for Canada. Well I think it's the best thing since sliced bread. Canada would still retain its sovereignty and identity.

a union would allow for a political leader’s office to be impeached. we don't need anymore Marxist dictators destroying Canada
we could have one political leader or 13 for each province and territory
we could have a Canadian currency at par with the US currency, and we could each retain our existing currency
immediate dual citizenship for every citizen
a union would create the largest economy in the world
the union could create a closed self-sufficient economy
a union would allow Americans and Canadians to access the best of Canada and the USA without controls or regulations
a union would allow everyone access to the best medical facilities in the world, by improving Canadian healthcare standards and access, while allowing everyone access to the best medical facilities in the USA
the union would attract vast capital and global corporate investment to the newly formed union
a union would eliminate unnecessary red tape when it comes to trade, travel and taxation
a union may mean immigration would be more selective, not destructive
corporations could freely operate in a much larger marketplace without multi-national taxation concerns and regulations
access to a broader base of educational resources
one military, one national police force, one intelligence agency, and one border
trilingual nation - english, spanish and french
it would be an engine for diversity, inclusion and equity without any legislation
I think Greenland would join the party just to be part of the party
snowbirds would become homies
think before we say no - the opportunities and advantages are endless. yes there would be some concerns (drugs, gangs, AIPAC, stronger big brother in your bed) but overall much better.
