the man from “doge city"
a shadow from the hills of L.A. appeared
water was no longer a concern
the flames silenced
the tall man then travelled east to the mudslides of North Carolina
the rescuing army came marching in behind him
a Colt six shooter tied to his hip
concern and cause filled the bullets
the mission, to quell traitors and tyranny
the Winchester straddled his arms
he was the man from “doge city”
from one state to another
from the shores of Mar-a-largo to the
awaiting brass bands in New Orleans
the border ready to welcome the tall stranger
outlaws and gangs hiding behind the Mexican border
Delta Force readying for the victory
Rangers and Sheriffs filled with pride
Green Berets and Seals relaxed with envy
the Alamo was not to be repeated
but not so for the Kansas City Chiefs
the man then travelled north to Washington
remembering the heroics of Davy Crockett
mimicking Daniel Boone
the six shooter now filled with tariffs and justice
the man from doge city ready to take on the world
a Musk-et by his side
a collage of the true and blue behind him
an army to defend him and the nation
and God to protect him
if you cannot see the good, you are part of the problem
Trump ain't God, he's the man from doge city
Thanks, Joseph Pede
