we have deconstructed the family

alienated humanity from consciousness

complicated all references to sexuality

ostracized the tongue from committing criticism

turned a blind eye to the perceptible reality

manipulated the truth to appease the alchemical lie

we've allowed technology to incarcerate the mind

we've poisoned the body to fascinate the curiosity of a maniacal science

we've allowed corporatism to intoxicate Mother Nature and dubbed it global warming

we've constructed fantasy to suppress the realizable impossible

we've allowed information to be disseminated as hysteria

we've built civilization as a penal system to harbour political fanaticism

created rules to suppress the natural order

nurtured evil to see it slowly conquest over good

we've used war and conflict to divide and conquer

employed genocide, hunger and disease as precautionary penance

tested the resilience of love by subjecting it to never-ending hate

we've built a monumental relic from history's decadence and decay

christening it civilization
