Christian Secularism

The best advice one can offer at the present time is that humans should come together. We have all been clandestinely divided and broken - by geography, religion, race, pandemics, demagogues and now technology. How can anyone hate someone without answering the why. It makes no sense. Everything we dislike about someone else has generally come about by societal engineering, propaganda and mind control programs. Case in point - many Covid vaccinated individuals absolutely abhorred those who chose common sense and decided not to be vaccinated. Friends, family, relationships and jobs vanished for no reason. Why?

If you were to put a jew and Palestinian in a situation where each was dependent on the other, they would learn to overcome all their preconceived perceptions of each other and join forces to overcome the dilemma at hand. Human nature, not programming, would address the created divide. The illusion would slowly filter away. When a soldier kills for the joy of killing, then killing becomes sport, not duty. First and foremost, the soldier must have a duty to be moral and ethical, even in the act of killing. Finally, the soldier must realize that when he kills another human being, he destroys part of self. Killing is a double-edged sword and has a domino effect on the many lives who are impacted by the madness of killing.

The notion that Muslims hate Christians or vice-versa, or that both of the former two hate jews and vice-versa, is not real, it's fiction. Our daily work interactions, the political candidates we choose, the doctors and nurses who care for us, religious leaders who preach to anyone or the partner we choose for companionship are all absent of these roadblocks. In my view, this is the rise of Christian Secularism. This paradoxical concept refers to individuals who unknowingly identify with the cultural, ethical, and historical traditions of Christianity without adhering to its supernatural doctrines or religious dogmas. We can overcome the Secularism component by addressing the existential threats which divide us from God. The more we remove God from our daily lives, the more we remove life from the life that exists within us.

The invitation for humanity to coexist harmoniously was made possible by a benevolent being whom many have discarded. The best of humanity will never be attained if we allow the best of technology to conquer our best intentons. The time remaining for humanity to come together is quickly diminishing. A better future is still possible if we choose wisely, not selfishly.

Thank you,
Joseph Pede
