Grocery Giant Profits - The NDP'ers are attacking! LOL

Grocery Giant Profits - The NDP'ers are attacking! LOL

I received the attached political email from the NDP party. Jagmeet wants to grill the greedy grocery giants. Jagmeet supports Justinian but he is totally clueless as to who he is supporting and what is transpiring around the world.
  1. New federal government policies force Canadian producers to cut back on fertilizer. This one mandate will cut crop output, and with normal demand and supply remaining constant, food prices will rise
  2. Drought, fire, flooding and inclement weather (all engineered) have impacted farm product output. When demand stays constant and supply diminishes, prices will rise.
  3. Interest rate increases mean farming costs have gone up. Farmers are impacted by increasing interest rates. This cost must be passed along to the ultimate consumer.
  4. Trucking is a major input in delivering farm products to market. Vehicle loans and gas prices have gone up. This cost increase is obviously passed along to the consumer.
  5. Livestock and poultry disease have meant that fewer meat and poultry products have made it to the marketplace. A constant demand and diminishing supply mean higher prices. This has all been engineered. In addition, livestock is being genetically engineered with mRNA vaccines. This will cause major problems in the near future.
  6. In the past several months we have seen food production facilities sabotaged across the USA, and the same type of activity has impacted oil refineries.
  7. With the breadbasket of Europe now a war zone (i.e. Ukraine), more Agri-food products from Canada are heading East. This has a supply impact.
  8. We have learned that Dairy Industry quotas have resulted in dairy farmers unnecessarily have to discard excess milk production. Lunacy. Can you imagine the extra butters, cheeses, yogurts and dairy-related products could be produced?
  9. Mother Nature is intervening in food production. Primarily, the seasons are changing, and so has the axis of the planet. This is a major factor in climate change, not the hoax of global warming. Water levels are rising on specific coastlines for the same reason. The Earth has shifted - almost 30 degrees East in the past decade. Water levels CANNOT rise. Ice has already displaced the water level. If the ice melts the water level remains the same. Simple grade 9 science.
Obviously, there are more reasons why the Globalists have attacked the food, water and energy sectors. They are doing everything possible to subdue humanity by changing and deleting global supply chains, and their related modes of transport.
But why have Canadian grocers made so much more profit? Like any industry, grocers work on gross profit margins. If the costs of food prices rise and gross profit percentage remains constant, then overall profits will remain the same, or rise. Profits will rise to a greater extent if the associated personnel or semi-fixed expenses rise by a smaller percentage, or do not rise at all. This is simple economics and mathematics. If personnel and semi-fixed costs have not risen by the same percentage as food costs, then profits will increase. The business model for grocers has not changed, they are simply operating by the same accounting models they have always followed.
The only way to stem this PERMANENT FOOD SUPPLY REDUCTION, is to implement PRICE CONTROLS. By the same manner in which the Cuban's father imposed wage and price controls many decades ago. Jagmeet is just another political opportunist who is supporting a criminal prime minister in destroying this country . Stay away from anything Jagmeet says. The NDP party is a greater threat to this country than the Liberal party.
Thank you,
Joseph Pede
Hey Joseph,
I know Canadians are fed up with high grocery prices. You're making sacrifices just to put food on the table for your family, or even worse, skipping meals. It shouldn’t be this way. That’s why next week in Parliament, I’ll be grilling the CEOs of the big grocery store chains to hold them accountable for the high prices Canadians are seeing at their stores. We’ll make these CEOs face the music. They may be rich and powerful, but we’re forcing them to testify. And Joseph, I won’t take it easy on them. Here’s where you come in, Joseph: I will ask your questions to these grocery CEOs if you send them in right now. Joseph, What would you ask the CEOs of the big grocery stores?
It’s time to hold these CEOs accountable for grocery bills rising faster than inflation while the companies profit. Thanks to greedflation, prices are skyrocketing and families are struggling to afford the basics. Just last week, Loblaws and its CEO Galen Weston announced they made $14 Billion in revenues in one fiscal quarter alone as Canadians struggled to put food on the table. In fact, they made an extra million dollars a day. I won’t let these CEOs off the hook for high grocery prices. Joseph, help me hold these CEOs accountable. Submit your question now. ndp.ca/grocery-ceos

Thanks,
Jagmeet Singh,
Leader - Canada’s NDP
