He does not answer the why
but in how to overcome the how
Jesus seeks only one victory
to acquire those who have fallen
warriors who have experienced defeat
those who have succumb to excruciating pain
rejection and isolation
those who endlessly contemplate the why
to love Jesus is an act of devotion
it is a life's work
the path to Jesus is a rugged road
there exist no exits
no retreats
it is a war in which your heart ultimately surrenders
not because of death
but because you have resurrected
