poem - nothingness

Preamble: The idea that nothingness came to know self in a moment of sadness, because creation lacked purpose is meant to be a heartbreaking. I attempt to imply that without a witness or a "purpose", an entire universe of creation amounts to “nothing”.

nothingness

what can come to be, if it has no beginning or no end
how does one explain the ineffability of nothingness
nothing creates the perception that matter must have form
that nothingness must have substance
but what is form without the veil covering the illusion of form
in the absence of nothing there can only be nothingness
nothingness is the thought of existence before existence
contemplating why nothing had not yet come be
it is nothingness standing outside nothingness
experiencing the ecstasy of nothing's interaction with nothingness
it is nothingness experiencing the joy of self
seeking substantiation of nothingness' own spontaneous generation
a creation absent of the primordial atom
absent of chaos
absent of divine order
absent of nothingness' entire library of creation
for nothingness came to know self in a moment of sadness
when all that was had no purpose
when nothingness had yet to experience the nothing that came to be

thank you,
joseph pede
