waiting for an end
at birth, fear is a mere shadow
cautiously biding its time
pursuing the infant soul from start to finish
a warm breast remains the infant's only sanctuary
the senses are at ease
commitment to life is limited
adapting and learning become the infant's major preoccupations
uninterrupted sleep provides a momentary heaven on earth
a dirty diaper presents the first obstacle
but what is the child to do, cry and wait
this first soil christens fear
who is the child to blame
here, the abandonment of true love begins its journey
trauma initiates its reign
fear of the unknown begins its trek
life will measure not in how much we love
but in how much we have come to embrace fear
fear of failure
fear of misfortune
fear of disease
fear of life
fear of death
throughout, we fall in and out of love
knowing not, that love is all there is
the one spiritual armament we carry into existence
the only connection we have with God
yet we trade love for life's fears
we surrender all that we are to become shadows
ghosts in a world we have briefly come to know
waiting for an end
unknowingly waiting to reconnect with God
with true love
something fear stole from us
thank you,

SHOCKING: Accused arsonist recorded inside New Brunswick church
The arson at Saint-Simon's historic church is the most serious church burning case Rebel News has covered, and the shocking video filmed by the accused suspect reveals potential motivations behind the attack, and raises questions about why it's being ignored by the media and politicians.
Accused arsonist Gilles Mallet filmed himself inside the Saint-Simon church hours before it burned to the ground. In the video, Mallet, 68, speaks in French, directly to the camera, and directly to his own parishioners. He tells them this will be the last time he walks into this church before adding the truth has to come out. He tells everyone he loves them, then asks for forgiveness. Hours later, the church was ashes.
