We Have Created Our Own Hell
The brain succumb to the intoxication of contaminated water
Hypocrites guard the unplumbed wells of sanity
Artificiality surrounds the queued remains of humanity
An intangible simulation dominates the senses
The mind’s ethereal software hacked by technocrats
Vandalized by the alchemists’ spiritual contraceptives
Flesh and bone stiffened by a synthetic rigour mortis
Mummified by a gauze of gullibility and ignorance
Sleep has become a prosthesis for a never-ending nightmare
Angels and saints exorcised from our inner sanctum
We have created our own Hell
Compelled to loiter atop the flaming embers of the absurd
